VideoEgg's straightforward approach to online video publishing focuses on simplifying digital video, making it as easy to post videos to the web as it is to post photos. A "universal adapter" that reads dozens of formats and captures from hundreds of devices, including camcorders, web cams and mobile phones, the VideoEgg Publisher allows content creators to painlessly publish video in a format that anyone can watch without worrying about player compatibilities, encoding settings, or extra software.

"We scoured hundreds of applications we received to vote on the top emerging private technology companies," said Tony Perkins, founder and editor of AlwaysOn. "Selected are the companies we think are demonstrating significant market traction or pursuing game-changing technology. We expect these organizations to have a big impact for both Hollywood and Silicon Valley."

Video can also be used to spice up personal websites, blogs and emails and kids can be creative by adding video to their homework assignments.

From day one, the entire VideoEgg team has worked hard to make internet video publishing truly simple for content creators, and it's been great to see our approach so warmly embraced by the community and industry," said Kevin Sladek, Co-Founder of VideoEgg, Inc.
