The Senior Accountant at VideoEgg will be the lead person in performing the month-end close process and will take complete ownership over the general ledger. This is a dynamic role in a rapidly growing company with lots of opportunity for growth. The position is currently “hands on” and is responsible for Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, Journal Entries and other Ad Hoc reporting and tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance.

The position reports to the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate is ambitious and looking for challenging work environment that will accelerate their career growth. The candidate must be very organized and detail oriented. Great communication skills are a must. Candidate must be willing to work in a rapid growth environment.

• General Ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations and month end close process.
• Accounts Payable - data entry, check processing, daily calls with vendors
• Purchase Orders – manage purchase request policy, create and issue PO’s
• Bank & Account Reconciliations
• Payroll Accounting
• Employee Expense Reports
• Partner and Ad Hoc Reporting
• Various cost analysis
• Filing, Copying and various other clerical duties

• Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting related major
• Minimum of 3 years of Accounting or Financial experience, preferably working in a start-up environment.
• CPA or Public Accounting experience a plus
• Computer Savvy. Emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Quickbooks knowledge a huge plus
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
